Dividend

In 2004, the Board of International Power announced a dividend policy of moving progressively to an EPS pay-out ratio of 40%. International Power currently declares an annual dividend, which is recommended to shareholders for approval at the Annual General Meeting and is normally paid in June, and an interim dividend which was introduced in August 2007, and is normally paid in October.

To date the following dividends payments have been made:

Direct dividend payments


International Power operates a service that pays dividends automatically into shareholders' bank or building society accounts. This service gives shareholders a number of benefits including: avoiding the risk of loss in the post, and cash is available immediately upon receipt in your account on date of payment with no need to wait for a cheque to clear.  We will be introducing a single consolidated tax voucher, to be issued each year in March in time for your self-assessment tax return.  The first is expected to be issued in March 2009, covering any dividends paid during the tax year 2008/09.
