International Power hosted an analyst conference in Melbourne, Australia on the 9-10 April 2008.
Australia is one of our three major merchant markets and Asia is a core long-term contracted market. In aggregate these two regional markets contributed just under 20% of our profit from operations in the year ended 31 December 2007.
Mark Williamson – Chief Financial Officer
Mark joined International Power in September 2000 from Simon Group plc as Group Financial Controller. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer in December 2003 and his responsibilities include financial control and reporting, tax and risk management. Mark was appointed to the Board of Imperial Tobacco Group PLC as a Non- Executive Director in July 2007.
